Becoming a member
When you enrol in one of our events or training programs you become a member for that year. Continuing membership requires enrolment in at least one event each year.
About the College
Adelaide Nautical College, incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act SA 1985 in 1994, is a private college managed by the Principal and professional staff who report to and seek advice from the Advisory College Board, elected at the Annual General Meeting according to the Rules of Association. It is recognised by ATO as a charitable educational organisation with a DGR school building fund. College on Murray (ANCOM) is a campus of the college.
College Members are also members of ANCOM Club
- Persons who enrol in an ANC training program during the current financial year.
- Persons who are members of the college staff.
- Schools or Youth Groups who use our facilities (persons accessing ANCOM from these groups must be enrolled in the group or school.)
- Corporate and Service Clubs who support the college activities by participating in our events.
Continuing membership is reliant on continuing participation in our events
- Continuing members enrol in at least one college event during the year.
- Family membership (nominally 2 adults and 2 children with variations negotiated)
- Schools (individual participants must be enrolled in the school)
- Youth groups (individual participants must be fully paid up members of the youth group)
Members may invite guests.
- Members guest invitations protect the right of privacy for the college to regulate admission to college facilities.
All members are encouraged to invest in the College Loan Licence to Occupy. Loan Licence capital is used to purchase and maintain all of the college facilities and equipment
Members who own Licences may use college boats and equipment on an annual use basis according to the number of 24 hour licences days/night held. The college required they have been assessed as competent by college assessor staff before using the equipment. (Time Share)
